
These Rules are subject to change until Draft Day
1. The league will consist of 12 teams to be decided no later than September 3th 2010
2. The draft is September 4th 2009
3. The draft will consist of 30 rounds with a 5-minute time limit per pick, which will include the final rounds. The Fantasy Football Assistant Program is equipped for only 30 rounds and to help facilitate time we will be eliminating the position of coach.
4. The order of the draft will be determined by the Fantasy Football Assistant Program. Teams will begin making 2 picks per round beginning in the 16th round and continuing thru until all 30 roster spots are filled. The draft format will be determined by majority vote on draft day. These are the format options available to choose from:
A. Every round 1-12
B. Odd rounds 1-12 Even rounds 12-1
C. Random Odd rounds, Reverse Even
D. Random Every round
5. Each fantasy team will consist of 30 players. Teams must have a 30 player roster at all times. All teams must be able to fill a starting line-up all weeks of the season. Starting line-ups will consist of 13 players.
6. Offensive Starting Line-ups will consist of a total of 7 players.
1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 K
Defensive Starting Line-ups will consist of a total of 6 players.
2 DB 2 DL 2 LB
7. All positions must be filled every week with no substitutions of positions allowed i.e.... A third WR for the TE etc.
8. All teams must have their line-up submitted by Saturday 8:00 pm unless there is a game scheduled on a day earlier than Sunday. In that case, line-ups must be submitted 24 hours before kickoff. If a line-up is not submitted on time that teams previous weeks line-up will be inserted. This rule will be strictly enforced with NO EXCEPTIONS. Week 1 line-ups should be submitted on Draft Day.
9. Teams will be allowed 2 add/drops every week one offensive and one defensive until the start of the Playoffs. No add/drop will be allowed after the regular season ends. Add/drops will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and must be submitted via the blog http://midwestsuperstars2010.blogspot.com New players must be acquired before Midnight Wednesday in order to be eligible to play that week. All trades must be confirmed by the Commissioner.
10. The League will consist of two six team divisions. Division placement will be determined by the order of the first draft round. Odd numbers will be Division 1 and even numbers will be Division 2. Division names can be determined by the teams in that division on Draft Day.
11. PLAYOFFS:
A. Due to the fact that many elite fantasy players often see reduced playing time in Week 17 of the NFL season because of meaningless games and injuries, our League Regular Season Play ends Week 13. Round 1 of Playoffs will be Week 14.
B. The team with the highest cumulative points in each division will receive a Bye for Round 1. The teams with the second highest cumulative points will play the teams with the best head-to-head records.
C. Winners of Round 1 will play division leaders in Round 2, Week 15.
D. Winners of Round 2 face off in the Championship Game on Week 16.
12. Each team has available to them via the league website the following... Drafting order and results, All team rosters for verification, one on one schedule, scoring sheets, the league scoring system, these league rules, and all stats for each week. All links on the website should be up and running within a few days of the draft. Once posted please verify your rosters and contact the commissioner asap with any errors or problems.
13. The commissioner will be responsible for obtaining weekly NFL player stats and applying them to fantasy league teams. The Quick Stats program will be used to download weekly stats into the Fantasy Football Assistant Program. Additional stats may be obtained from the internet via http://www.nfl.com There will be a charge of $7.00 per team to cover the cost of the stats program that is will be collected before the start of the draft. If at anytime a dispute should arise as to league scoring a complaint must be made to the commissioner and if need be will be corrected before the beginning of play of the following week. If a dispute should arise that cannot be decided between the commissioner and fantasy team a majority rule will decide. The Fantasy Football Assistant program will most likely have to be tweaked to fix any unforeseen errors during the first week of scoring so please report any errors you find ASAP.
14. The Fantasy Football Assistant program is equipped to allow line-ups to be submitted directly from the league Web Pages and a link will be provided. Please let me know if you have any problems or questions.
15. A meeting via e-mail between all fantasy teams may be called at anytime by any team if the need arises.
17. The last rule of this Fantasy Football league is the most important to remember. Have Fun and enjoy the Season.
